Road Planings are produced when motorways and roads are resurfaced. They are created by a cold milling machine, whilst removing the road surface. The resulting product is loaded onto a tipper lorry. The use of road planings is generally considered to be environmentally safe as Bitumen is a naturally occurring substance.
Planings are generally 0/40mm in size therefore when compacted form a hard and stable surface. This is a cheaper and durable alternative to using virgin aggregate.
We act as a broker for multiple companies supplying a network of end user licensed tips for High Grade Road Planings. We also supply individuals, assistance in setting up waste exemption permits is available on request.

Delivery Information
Suitable access needs to be provided for deliveries. This needs to be a firm and flat area for safe tipping with adequate space to accommodate your requested tonnage. This area must be clear of any overhead structures or services. Details of your tipping location including access from the road may be requested in a written or photographic form. This is purely to confirm suitability.
All delivery lorries will be either a 6 or 8 wheel tipper.
Some deliveries may well be made at night due to the nature of our clients work. If this is the case this will be stated at the time of ordering to ensure this is possible. An estimated time of delivery will be provided the day before arranged date.
Part Load Charges
Part loads are not normally something we deliver but if you have a special request we will endeavour to fulfil it. Unfortunately a part load will incur an empty space charge to cover haulage costs. Please get in touch for more information.
